Meet the Artist

Erica Caitlin Donnelly MA

Hello, nice to meet you!

I am an illustrator and creator with specialisms in printmaking and editorial work. My personal work focuses on a range of topics from mental health, animal rights, and climate change. I am passionate about bridging the gap between activism and art. My Professional work also has aspects of these subjects that I am passionate about within it while also conveying an engaging and personal style.

With hard work and dedication, I graduated from the University of Sunderland with an MA in design,  BA First Class Honours, and a design award for creative innovation.

I have exhibited work alongside other artists and print makers over the years. Throughout my university career, I have also started a small craft business, dealt with commissions from clients, and managed the University of Sunderland's Drawing Society.

My previous projects include:

-Commission work for the National Trust

-A series of 4 illustrated seasonal cookbooks 

-An eating disorder awareness campaign and literature

-Illustration work for See Through Zine
